Silent Witness

A Monday night show,
now they're talking about Uber,
I didn't watch it 20 years ago
the cast seems different.

I'm around people often,
who are with the

Law and Order family,
and where she branches out.

One conclusion, leading to the other,
and the other, 

the script pulling apart,
revealing the omissions in

the folds of the concertina.

My peers could say this is England, yeh,
Silent Witness, Mondays,
it's been on long enough, it's odd
it's been on 20 years,
humans fed to pigs,
the music ascending to fade before resolve,
network edits on the BBC,
I've been out of here 15 years,
I've been here too long to know
of the tolerance of network edits
elsewhere.
