Nearly everyone knowing its a lifetime of luck

to spy a kingfisher

hell ive seen 2 in the past month alone

skimming across any body

gotten to where i can sense the awe before i even feel it

Honestly have a hard time seeing myself as something

without a hand on my waist

the slippery shame shapes neither

floating nor falling

with not enough pebbles to stay the course

well yeah, i think its true i stopped wanting to sea

and yes, placed glass buttons over my eyes

orange slices down my neckline

wore low slung underwear

let serpents puddle at my ankles

and saturated my collar bones in despair

seems kindof outrageous, no?

that after this many carnivals

all i have to show for is an

outline of a seal pup

made entirely from marshmallows

with an ink blue ball balanced on the nose

Sep told me you can only hide your true self

for 3 months, max

Think about that

can someone please just swear to god if i'm gone

they'll let everyone know my smile

was of average brightness

and i was in equal turns magnificent and terrible
